What is Malignant mesothelioma?
Malignant mesothelioma is caused due to exposure to asbestos for a long period of time. When the cancer cells attack the lining tissue of the chest cavity and the peritoneum, the resulting cancer is termed as malignant mesothelioma.
Who can get Malignant mesothelioma?

When the victim continuously inhales or lives in an environment where one is forced to inhale asbestos fibers, he or she gets malignant cancer. These asbestos fibers are microscopic in size. Places that are heavily polluted with asbestos fibers include cement factory, ship building factory etc. People living with those work in such places too are prone to get malignant mesothelioma.
Diagnosis of malignant mesothelioma:

Symptoms of malignant mesothelioma can be detected only after 15 to 20 years of exposure to asbestos. As it cannot be diagnosed at earlier stages treatment to malignant cancer becomes very difficult. Often malignant mesothelioma is wrongly diagnosed for lung cancer. Therefore it is important to discuss with your physician your past work history so that the diagnosis and treatment will move in the right direction. Prior to the treatment a number of tests have to be performed to establish the disease. Series of tests include, cytology examination, blood count and bronchoscopy, thoractomy biopsies, x-raying the chest cavity, establishing the sedimentation rate. Some of the tests are to establish whether it is malignant mesothelioma and others are to rule out that it is not lung cancer.
Symptoms of malignant mesothelioma:

Symptoms of malignant mesothelioma include pain in the abdomen cavity, swelling in the abdomen area, pain beneath the rib cage, breathing difficulties, weight loss and formation of lumps in the abdomen.
Treatment of malignant mesothelioma:

There are several factors that have to be taken into consideration before the deciding the course of treatment. Factors to be considered include – general health condition of the patient, age of the patient, health condition of the lungs, heart, age and size of the cancer cells.
Several tests have to be performed before the physician can establish the disease.

What is E.coli – What are the symptoms of E.coli?

E.Coli is a form of bacteria that spreads through food, fecal matter and water. This disease can be acquired from unwashed hands of people that are infected already. Contaminated food can also be a rich source of e.coli.
